About
Hexagon Cardigan – a beautiful and easy-to-make garment for any doll. It adds a cozy touch and perfectly suits the mood of the colder seasons.
The cardigan is worked from a simple hexagon, which folds into an L-shaped piece to form half of the garment. The pattern is straightforward — you just keep adding layers, letting the hexagon grow round by round. You can also adjust the size easily, making it bigger or smaller depending on your design.
For the best drape, it’s recommended to use thinner or acrylic yarn, so the cardigan hangs softly and naturally.
This version is designed to fit dolls 30–35 cm tall.
Difficulty level: Easy
Measurements: Length: 7 cm; Circumference: 12 cm; Sleeve length: 7 cm.

Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Connect 2 pieces together
Place the two pieces together with wrong sides facing. Join along the center line from bottom to top with sl sts — 11 sts total (2 in the ch-3 space and 9 in the dc groups).

Next Round: start at bottom right corner:
Begin working along the bottom edge and continue around the entire perimeter.

Start with a standing stitch: 3 dc in the corner ch-3 space.
(3 dc in the space between dc groups) × 8; in the next ch-3 space: {3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc};

Final Rounds
Work along the entire perimeter.

3 sc in the side of dc, 2 sc in the ch, 20 sc in the dc-stitches,
(2 sc in one st, dec) × 2, 20 sc, 2 sc in the ch, 3 sc in the side, ch 1, 1 sc in the same st, 27 sc to the end.
