Join me to crochet this doll!
I love crocheting dolls: creating new shapes, discovering little tricks, and finding new ways to work with yarn. For me, it’s really about the process.
But so many of you asked for a pattern, so last year I created my first tutorial. Since then, a lot has changed, and I felt it was time to update it.
It wasn’t easy for me - writing clear patterns, filming videos, and explaining everything is a completely different kind of work. So this time, I decided to share the tutorial step by step.
This will be a course, about 2 months long, where I’ll release patterns and instructions every Saturday, so you can create your own doll along the way.
What’s new in this tutorial compared to the first one:
The same idea of knee, elbow, and hip joints, but with refined technique
Hands with fingers
A new body shape, with a bigger bust
A ball-shaped head joint that allows not only rotation but also more natural movement (I love how she can tilt her head - it looks so cute!)
Lips, nose, ears, and even eyelids crocheted as one piece with the head
Beaded hair with a new base pattern
And many other tips and tricks I use when working on a doll

The course starts on April 1, and by summer you’ll be able to create your own doll.
Like the previous one, this tutorial is designed for experienced crocheters. To get the most out of it, you should be comfortable working with cotton yarn and able to maintain even tension and consistent stitch size.

I also want to say thank you to everyone who purchased the first Crochet Doll Tutorial and supported my crochet journey, you’ll get access to the new one for free.
